Impression of a cultural exchange trip students of Vietnam - Japan in 2010
Introduction
Every day in Vietnam, the information about Japan, Japanese people often appear far from boiling over the mass media such as TV, internet. Etc. Long ago, I had wanted was a moment I will visit Japan - the country is known as the land of the rising sun to learn, explore what helped Japan from a very poor country Vietnam is not much different in the 60s of the 20th century but has now become a developed country with GDP was ranked second in the world. Therefore, before departure to Japan, I always appear in the mood really hard to describe: just excited, just excited. Etc.
And indeed with all the events that took place during the trip that I have firsthand deeply touched me and the answer has slowly appeared before my eyes.
Transfer was successfully saved, I have some thoughts, feel deeply about the country Japan, the Japanese people ... as follows:
The caring, kindness and enthusiasm of the Japanese
Mental importance of the Japanese guests can say is that first impression and a lot to me personally, as well as to all members of the delegation of my students.
Sense of dignity of the first meeting at the office of Center Nasic in the Capital Tokyo when Sir. Ken Nisho - Chairman, Chief Executive Office staff in Tokyo and welcome center at the Seminar Room morning of September 27, 2010. But time is not long meeting here, but in my mind were more available very different emotions. Sir Ken and I sat together, immediately behind the two flags national flag of Vietnam and Japan. At that time, I feel very proud of the welcome very important market for Japanese colleagues. Actual time, I also confused because the first time to speak and act as ambassadors representing the people of Vietnam in Tokyo so.
One thing very special banquet was held to welcome students and the length of the elite in Vietnam was held at Ivy Hall - Assembly Hall Aogaku at 18h on the same day.
Honestly I'm really surprised about how welcoming and nghinh organization Nasic that evening. Although he has been Takashi Takikawa - Nasic Office Center in Tokyo to talk about the important message of welcome from the party on the bus when going from Narita Airport to Minami Aoyama Assembly Hall, but in my mindalways hard to describe feeling nervous. Thanks to the attention of Mr. Takashi and encouragement of Mr Duy, ms Hong (as the interpreter for a delegation of students) so I was pretty well prepared for his speech.
The children of our students were extremely interested and excited when mr. Akira Mitsuhashi detailed instructions walking, standing, standing in line when entering the hall, on how to greet the delegates are standing in the hall like no. And when my capacity as head of mission staff and students visit Vietnam to participate in cultural exchanges between Vietnam and Japan in 2010 slowly into the center of the hall, then all the guests, the businessmen and Japanese students, students of Vietnam has stood up to welcome us with incessant applause. I have been overwhelmed by the pages in the air at that situation and polite.
I'm really surprised that the esteem of the delegates present that evening for groups of students in Vietnam. Large enough presence and full accountability of officials representing the Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, principals and vice principals of universities and institutions of Japan has made us feel full enough about the excellent behavior of the Japanese Government for education in general, for a delegation of Vietnam in particular.
I will never forget the sincerity and openness of the visitors that day. One thing in particular I've been meeting and talking with the Chair and CEO of National Students Information Center Co.Ltd - Sir Toshikazu Kitazawa - The founder of Kitazawa Cup awarded to students attending Contest Japanese take over the world - a very gentle man but also very emotional browser. We were raising glasses together to the same wish for the relationship between the people of Vietnam and Japan, student exchange activities between the two countries always evolving and increasingly effective.
I have also been received in audience and discuss his work with Mr. Naoki Murata - Department of Foreign Affairs - Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Shigeharu Kato - Deputy Director of Department of Higher Education, Mr. Hiroki Matsuo - Director of Communication Program Support change and students of the Department of Education or Mr. Hitoshi Hirano University - Institute of JAIST. etc. Besides, there are many more guests had also left the impression very good about kindness, our warm welcome. As people who work in higher education sector in Vietnam, I've been thinking a lot about the great attention of the officials of the Japanese government delegation's activities to students in Vietnam. This has been explained partly on the successful reform of university education in Japan in recent years - an education in modern universities and advanced training of a high quality human resources, is the driving force for the development of science and technology in Japan for many years.
And at a party and split summation Vietnam Student Union are held at September 29, 2010 at the Century Hotel - Kyoto, the protocol and content took place did we really feel our hearts very warm. The caring, dedicated and respectfully is what we felt in those days.
The presence of diplomats working in Vietnam Embassy in Japan as Chinese comrades, Mr. Cao Anh Dung increasingly evident to the good relations between two countries Vietnam - Japan general, the large role of the Nasic in particular education system and the Government of Japan.
Two reception but not long (about 90 minutes), but remains in our minds the sentiment very well. Behavior of key customers in Japan will you enlighten me, help me to improve further the knowledge and culture so that I can do a better job being in charge at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology - a university study leading science and technology to grow nearly 55 years of Vietnam.
The seriousness and accuracy in work hours
The staff of the Nasic as Sir Takashi Nasic Takikawa, Mr. Akira Mitsuhashi, and Mr. Sumiharu Nakamoto but not young age, but the spirit, their attitude has made us very respected. Hierarchy, hierarchical position shown extremely clear when they run the affairs of our journey. For instance specified hours before departure or scheduled a new date to go to the reception has been particularly noticeable. Sometimes some students to concentrate for a few minutes late due to a crowded elevator. Etc. But officials of the Center Nasic did not express discomfort with words or facial grimacing, but instead is a very gentle attitude as chief informed about the incident and inform the program may be affected by the down late. etc.
The meeting welcomed by universities such as Tokyo, Kyoto, Kansai, Meiji very warm, caring and hospitable. How reception of the university is worth to me to learn.Content activities, diet, gifts and presents information, tour guide on campus are very full, medium and evident the industrial working style of a modern society .
I personally very impressed by the long years of traditional universities visited. With a rich history and tremendous investment that the Government of Japan for, universities such as University of the University of Tokyo, Meiji University, Kansai University. Etc. Brand has become famous not only university in Japan but throughout the world.
I absolutely adore going to visit the Museum of the University. The work of collection development, preservation and presentation show that a very serious attitude and professionalism of many generations of Japanese history. It can be said, the museum of the university has become an icon that best value and significance of scientific and practical existence of the native land of Japan, as well as the role of scientists , an education in Japanese society over many centuries.
Hospitable and very respectful when visiting delegation Meiji University she joined the Etsuko Katsu - Vice Rector in charge of international cooperation and Mr. Koji Matsuhashi - Vice Rector in charge of student (co-workers to me) and welcome to dine together.
Education and awareness about traffic law observance
I see Japanese people consciously abide by traffic laws very well. In Tokyo, the ancient capital of Kyoto or Osaka, the city roads are not as wide as the cities of Europe or in America, but all communication activities took place very smoothly, with no regular traffic scene such as Bangkok - Thailand.
Highway system from Tokyo to Kansai with 4 lanes, though not large, but is designed turns out, turn, parking, rest stops are very reasonable. After the distance is 100km with a station break. There is supermarket full of goods for drivers and tourists.
At WC, the images of traffic accidents were pasted at the location is easy to recognize. These images accompanied by comments about a warning or a traffic accident occurred on the highway. I regret that may be high-speed Shinkansen train in Japan, but I went to the subway in Kyoto City. Subway system in Japan of the world's largest system, on par with the metro system of Germany, Russia.
The program worked so effectively
Although not a long time but the program works, visit such sites to the cultural relics, famous universities, media organizations and enterprises in Japan are very dense. That helped us direct access to training facilities, campus, leaders of the Board, meet business people and students. On that basis, I myself have learned many practical lessons for the teaching and its management in Vietnam. I am extremely impressed by the tradition and the prize that Japanese universities have been in the past.Facilities for study and research by students is also very modern and complete. If possible, students should participate in Vietnam student exchange programs with short duration from 1 - 1.5 years here it's very good for them.
The convenience of the services provided by the Government
In public places, the service was installed to cater for the needs of people use very full and rich. Consciousness of the Japanese people are very good signs everywhere.Especially services for people with disabilities such as visually impaired, hearing impaired are fully equipped. For example in public places like railway stations and schools. Etc.
That are fitted with structural links, special colors easily identifiable. Or in public toilets, we also see the sanitation is very convenient for people might look deformed and handicapped. This has helped disabled people to conform more social community, they help to feel alienated, abandoned.
Thanks
We can say, with interest, great effort of the Nasic in Japan, Vietnam company AIC ,members Student Union Vietnam to participate in cultural exchange student in Japan in 2010 was successful beautiful. Most of the children of my students are enthusiastic, happy to talk about memories, share photos, video clips beautiful land in Japan on the forums (see address on Face Book: Giaoluu Sinhvienviet- most).
After the exchange I can guarantee that in every act, every thought of my students will change as more positive direction. Image of the country, Japanese people will always manifest in their minds. I hope my students will become more mature in all aspects after the first cultural exchange in 2010.
I personally appreciated the activities of the mission held a cultural exchange student in 2010 by the Nasic and company co-organized by AIC. This success has also contributed to your like Mr. Nguyen Cao Cuong - AIC represents the understanding of Japanese culture and customs and manners agility; of Mr Dang Duy Quang, ms. Hong with friendly, enthusiastic in their work, the work of other employees working in Japan. etc. also helped me a lot to accomplish its mission chief.
In addition, I also thank two fellow deputy chief: Mr. Quach Hai Dat and Mr. Dang Dinh Thanh has always supported and support the common tasks for all goes to plan, schedule.
I also have a suggestion on a good point of the program may be operating in 2010 as follows: take a bus trip from Osaka to Tokyo on a mission had to run all night October 30, 2010. In cruise stopping at several stations for personal hygiene. Upon my return to Narita Airport is about 7h00, the team must check in procedures immediately. Etc.With an itinerary in such a hurry, the children of my female students show signs of fatigue due to stress, insomnia and more hungry. With the mission of the year, so more time allocated about one morning free to prepare students before the airport procedure Vietnam.
Again, as the chief cultural exchange student in 2010 in Japan, I would like to thank the Japanese Nasic, AIC Corporation of Vietnam, agencies and organizations. Etc. of the two countries to create conditions and support the activities of the union held a very successful and cause a lot of good impression on students of the two nations. Group members have been and will become the cultural ambassadors, to support a more active dissemination activities, advocacy of Japanese culture-country country cherry, Japanese movement for the people of Vietnam in general and Vietnam in particular students.
In the future, we wish to go back to work, visit and continue to explore the value of Japan's and much more to explain the miraculous growth of Japan.
Thank you and I wish the leadership, the staff of the Nasic - Japan is always healthy, happy and continue to the practical activities to help students of two countries of Japan - Vietnam closer together more.
