The pagoda in near Bai Dai tourist area famous for its unspoiled beauty on the shores of Bai Tu Long Bay. With its back leaning against the mountain, facing the sea, this is probably one of the most beautiful temples in Vietnam's pagoda system. This is also Giac Tam Zen Monastery, one of the two Buddhist monasteries of Quang Ninh.

Phase II investment in Cai Bau pagoda has been continued, including: Seven abbots, seven specialized monks, meditation hall, gallery of sugar pearls and a 50m high Buddha statue on the top of the mountain behind the Zen Monastery.
