PARADE TO CELEBRATE THE 80TH NATIONAL DAY OF VIETNAM – AN EPIC OF THE NATION AND HUMANITY

On September 2, 2025, at the historic Ba Dinh Square – where President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence in 1945, hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese people and international friends joyfully turned to the Parade – March to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (A80). The event is not only a great occasion to review the heroic tradition of the nation but also a brilliant symbol of peace, solidarity and sustainable development in the 21st century.

This year's parade was the largest in the past 80 years, with the participation of more than 35,000 people, including armed forces, youth, women, workers, intellectuals and representatives of overseas Vietnamese from all over the world. The majestic troops marched through the stage to the sound of majestic music, the red flag with yellow star fluttering, arousing national pride and the aspiration for a strong Vietnam.

The three most prominent activities in the series of events include:
1. The military parade - central parade at Ba Dinh Square, combined with a 3D mapping light technology performance on President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, showing the 80-year journey of building the country.
2. Exhibition "Vietnam - Journey of Independence and Integration" at the National Convention Center, introducing 800 precious images and artifacts about the process of innovation and development.
3. The light festival "Vietnam shines on five continents" took place simultaneously in Hanoi, Hue and Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh, creating an atmosphere of solidarity between the North - Central - South in harmony during the national festival.

Three typical concerts attracted millions of spectators:
- "Melody of the Fatherland" at My Dinh Stadium with the participation of 500 artists.
- "Vietnam's Spirit" at the Hanoi Opera House with an international symphony orchestra.
- "Vietnam - The Epic of Peace" in Ho Chi Minh City, combining traditional and modern art, spreading the message of peace to friends around the world.

During the event, from the streets to the villages, people were filled with joy. The national flag was everywhere, children held flags to sing the national anthem, the elderly were moved to tears remembering the day the country gained independence. Millions of Vietnamese people abroad also organized parades, exhibitions, and concerts to honor their homeland.
From this important celebration, three practical conclusions can be drawn:
1. Patriotism and national unity are the unparalleled strength that helps Vietnam overcome all challenges.
2. Independence and freedom are not only the achievements of the past but also the responsibility of today's and future generations.
3. Vietnam - from a resilient nation in war - has now become a symbol of peace, creativity and humanity in the international community.

The A80 parade is therefore not just a ceremony, but a new declaration of national pride and aspiration to reach a prosperous and powerful future.
